The best place for lunch on the way from Chicago to Philadelphia
Food is delicious and the seasoning is perfect. Ordered spinach and beef soup, pelmeni, savory pastries, and pancakes. Honey cake is not too sweet, perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ended up at Cafe Luna and everything was delicious. The chicken turnover was incredible, and that pistachio cake was next level. Super clean place, good vibe, high quality all around. Definitely recommend stopping in
Came in after 3 long days in the wet mountains with my kids and wife. Didn't actually realize the food was Eastern European. However, it turned out to be fantastic and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Glad we took a chance and gave this place a try!
Cafe Luna, in Pleasant Gap, PA is a stone’s throw off interstate 99. We were searching for a coffee house but found so much more. The home-made soups were authentically Eastern European, the coffee good, but the variety of well crafted pastries and cakes was simply heavenly. We dined in and even took some delicately layered cakes for our journey. What a surprise, worth going out of the way for!!!
Wonderful food in a family friendly atmosphere. Have spent years in eastern Europe the food just like we'd expect there. Borscht was incredible, honey cake delicious. Run by a Georgian family, it's imported flavors are just lovely.
Yesterday we visited this wonderful place! Delicious and homely! Very friendly and warm atmosphere! The food was very tasty! We ordered Pelmeni soup, chicken soup, spinach beef soup, cheeseboat, triple chocolate cake and we also ordered very tasty Georgian lemonades! We received our dishes on time, everything was really hot! The soups reminded us of childhood, we felt the love with which these dishes were prepared! We recommend this place, you will not regret it! Also in this building there is a wonderful Sauna y Bena! So if you want to relax and then eat deliciously, this place is 100%) We will definitely come back!
This cute little cafe is a hidden gem with vegetarian options! I stopped in with my family while on a road trip and got the BEST vegetarian borscht that I've ever had. They also have the most delicious stuffed pastries that they serve hot if you're dining in. We got the spinach and cheese pastry and also a mashed potato and mushroom pastry. One stuffed pastry is a nice size for a light lunch, especially with a cup of borscht, but we loved the pastries so much that we got some to go, too! My only regret is that this wonderful cafe is so far from home!
